Request for Proposals – Funding Available for Special Needs Housing

Florida Housing’s new Request for Proposals for Special Needs Housing is now available.  Florida Housing is making available approximately $13 million from the SAIL program as loans to qualified Applicants to construct and/or rehabilitate housing for special needs populations, such as the homeless, persons with disabilities, youth aging out of foster care, survivors of domestic violence, and the frail elderly. Applications will not be accepted after May 27, 2008.  The RFP is available on the FHFC Website at http://www.floridahousing.org/Home/BusinessLegal/Solicitations/RequestForProposals.htm.  The proposal is called RFP 2008-01 for the Development and Substantial Rehabilitation of Special Needs Housing.
