Florida Housing was established over 20 years ago to help ensure that low-income families have access to safe, affordable housing. Florida Housing continues to achieve this mission by maintaining partnerships with local governments, developers, and nonprofit organizations who share the common goal of producing affordable housing for families in the greatest need.
Through a variety of rental programs, Florida Housing is able to meet the critical housing needs of low-income Floridians, including special needs populations such as the elderly, farmworkers and commercial fishing workers, homeless people and others.
This section provides developers of affordable housing, non-profit organizations and other interested parties easy, direct access to our rental programs. Here you will find details on the State Apartment Incentive Loan Program (SAIL), the Housing Credits Program (HC), the Florida Affordable Housing Guarantee Program (Guarantee Program), the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) program, and the Multifamily Mortgage Revenue Bond program. Funding for most of these programs is available through the Universal Application.
